We have an exciting opportunity to join our Technology team as an IT Project Manager.
Based at our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool, you'll be responsible for delivering key technology and business change projects across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders across Buying, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Retail, Property, IT, Legal and Compliance, you'll ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time and to the highest standard.
This role would suit an experienced Project Manager who enjoys leading complex projects, managing stakeholders and driving meaningful change within a fast-paced retail environment.
The role will include:
- Managing projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation through to delivery and closure
- Developing project plans, timelines, governance structures and resource requirements
- Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and scope changes
- Leading project meetings, workshops and stakeholder forums
- Working closely with business and technology teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Providing clear project reporting and updates to sponsors and senior stakeholders
- Supporting the implementation of new processes and ways of working
- Ensuring projects adhere to governance, compliance and documentation standards
- Driving continuous improvement and promoting best practice project management methodologies
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience delivering projects within a complex business or technology environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience managing multiple priorities, risks and dependencies
- A solid understanding of project governance and change management principles
- Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills
- The ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- A collaborative, proactive and delivery-focused approach
It would be desirable if you also have:
- Experience delivering technology transformation projects
- Experience working within a retail environment
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies
- Relevant project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM or Agile certifications
