Job Summary

Duties
- Develop engaging website layouts and user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure responsive and accessible designs across all devices.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups utilizing tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Balsamiq, Axure, and InVision to visualize concepts clearly for stakeholders.
- Implement front-end features using frameworks such as Angular, React, Bootstrap, Node.js, Redux, and AJAX to enhance interactivity and performance.
- Optimize websites for SEO best practices to improve visibility on search engines and attract more visitors.
- Maintain and update existing websites built with content management systems like WordPress or custom PHP solutions.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design improvements and enhance user experience (UX).
- Collaborate with developers on website maintenance tasks including troubleshooting issues related to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL databases, or server-side scripts.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git to manage code revisions efficiently during development cycles.
- Apply knowledge of information architecture and UI/UX principles to create intuitive navigation structures that improve overall usability.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in digital design, web design, UI/UX design or related fields with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/SASS), JavaScript (AJAX), and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal for website development and maintenance.
- Skilled in graphic design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver), and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools like Balsamiq, Axure, Figma or InVision for project planning.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing websites for search engines.
- Ability to conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions effectively.
- Understanding of responsive web design principles ensuring optimal viewing experiences across devices.
- Basic knowledge of server-side scripting languages such as PHP or Python is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Telerik for collaborative development workflows.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear visual language for diverse audiences.
