The candidate won't need to tick every box, but ideally you'll:
· Hold QTS – ECTs are also encouraged to apply
· Have strong subject knowledge across Science
· Be enthusiastic, motivated and confident in the classroom
· Be able to create engaging and inclusive Science lessons
· Have strong communication and organisational skills
· Be committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential
· Be keen to develop professionally and contribute to the wider department
· Have the confidence and potential to take on additional responsibility
Your role:
· Teaching engaging Science lessons across the secondary age range
· Planning and delivering lessons that support pupils of different abilities
· Helping students develop confidence, curiosity and a strong understanding of Science
· Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching where needed
· Working closely with the Science department and wider teaching team
· Contributing to a positive, consistent and engaging learning environment
· Supporting students towards strong outcomes at GCSE and beyond
· Potentially taking on additional departmental responsibility for the right candidate
