Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen staff
- Support the movement of supplies and ingredients around the kitchen area efficiently and safely
- Ensure waste disposal is handled properly, maintaining a tidy and organized workspace
- Help with serving food and beverages when needed, providing excellent hospitality to guests
- Maintain cleanliness in storage areas, refrigerators, and dishwashing stations
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is essential
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
