Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Tradesperson who wants to progress and to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The candidate must have a trade as a foundational skill, preferably joinery and possess strong management skills, supervising experience, and proficiency in Primavera P6 to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. This role offers an opportunity to lead diverse teams and contribute significantly to the successful execution of construction initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction teams, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards
- Coordinate daily operations on-site, managing schedules, resources, and materials effectively
- Utilise Primavera P6 for project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
- Monitor project progress and report on milestones, potential delays, or issues requiring resolution
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and collaboration
- Enforce health and safety regulations across all site activities
- Manage site logistics and ensure compliance with legal and environmental requirements
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to promote a productive working environment
Qualifications
- Proven TRADESMAN and management experience within the construction industry with a strong background in supervising teams
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and resource management
- Demonstrable supervising experience with a track record of delivering projects successfully
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills
- Relevant construction qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid health & safety certification is preferred

Pay: £200.00-£225.00 per day
