Job Description
Cutprice foods and more is seeking a Store Manager for our Scunthorpe location. The Store Manager will be responsible for the overall store management, including the supervision of store employees, sales and service of merchandise, and the overall customer experience.
Essential Functions:
- Supervise all staff in store
- Supervise and train all staff in store operations and customer service
- Supervise and train all staff in merchandising and merchandising of merchandise
- Supervise and train all staff in inventory control
- Supervise and train all staff in receiving, inventory control, and record-keeping of materials and merchandise
- Responsible for H&S for staff and customers
- Buying
- Banking
- Maintain cleanliness of store including but not limited to cleaning equipment, floors, trash receptacles, etc.
- Work with management to meet or exceed sales goals performance expectations.
Requirements:
- Have some management experience
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds (without assistance) without incident.
- Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift.
- Be willing to work overtime when needed.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £15.50-£16.00 per hour

Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Supervising experience: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
