Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cover Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team at Rivergate Shopping Centre in Irvine. This role involves providing high-quality cleaning services across various commercial premises on a flexible basis. This role is a cover position with no guaranteed hours per week, although regular hours are available onsite.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of shopping mall, customer toilets offices etc.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure hygiene and presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures as required.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll in designated areas.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Adapt to different locations and cleaning requirements as scheduled by management.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities promptly.
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills and reliability in adhering to schedules.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the shift.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
