Trainee Contracts Engineer required to work in our successful pipework fabrication business located in Brierley Hill, West Midlands. Permanent Office based position, following completion of successful trial period, with all training provided in-house plus the opportunity to attend a relevant Apprenticeship course.
Duties will include
- Estimating materials from clients’ drawings
- Pricing listed materials
- Creating Production Drawings/Sheets ready for manufacture using MS & AutoCad Applications
- Producing all paperwork required for completion of contracts including Delivery Notes, Purchase Orders, Quality orientated paperwork etc.
- Managing individual contracts from initial Contract Review through to submitting for Invoicing
- Able to discuss requirements with Suppliers and Clients via telephone and email
- Generally assisting members of the Contracts Office with administrative duties
Applicants should be self-motivated, able to work individually and as part of a team, able to manage their own time, work accurately and efficiently to achieve set targets, reliable, polite and punctual.
Maths and English GCSE Grade C (Level 4) or above required minimum and should also be computer literate. CAD experience and full driving license would be preferred but not essential. Pension Scheme available in-line with current government guidelines and Health Scheme available upon request.
