Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our friendly and supportive finance team and play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organisation.
What will the role involve?
- daily management and organisation of the teams email inbox.
- Recording invoices and credit notes onto our inhouse sales management software whilst identifying overhead costs and recording appropriately.
- Accurately matching invoices to received stock records, identifying anomalies, investigating and reconciling the differences.
- Dealing with telephone queries both internally and from third party suppliers
- Supporting the Sales Ledger team by providing statements of accounts and copy invoices
- Assist with internal and external audits, responding to specific account queries and providing requested evidence
- Collaboration with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiencies.
Who would suit this role?
The ideal candidate may not have specific finance experience but they will be comfortable working at a fast pace in a high-volume environment and be willing to learn whilst doing so.
Numerical accuracy is essential so they will have an eye for detail, and they will be familiar with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets with some knowledge of mid-level formulas. They will have a proactive mindset with a desire to solve problems and meet deadlines and be a confident and effective communicator.
