Scale 4 (pt 7 – 11) - £13.69 per hour starting pay to increase to £14.59 per hour
37.5 hours per week, term time only plus 3 days.
Actual annual salary £23,260 (to increase to £24,784)
7:00am – 3:00pm (flexible hours considered for the right candidate)

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Manager to lead our school kitchen and provide high-quality, nutritious meals for our pupils.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the daily running of the school kitchen
· Manage and support General Kitchen Assistants
· Support the Breakfast Club, including food preparation and cleaning duties
· Prepare, cook and serve school meals to a high standard
· Plan balanced, nutritious menus in line with school and food standards
· Prepare meals and snacks for Tea Time Club
· Manage food ordering, stock control and portioning
· Ensure all food hygiene, health and safety, and allergen procedures are followed
· Maintain the kitchen, dining and preparation areas to a consistently high standard of cleanliness
Person Specification
· Experience working as a cook, ideally in a school or similar setting
· Ability to work independently and manage kitchen responsibilities
· Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures
· Organised, reliable and enthusiastic
· Enjoyment of working with children and supporting the wider school community
· Relevant food hygiene qualification (or willingness to obtain)
