Job Summary:
Location: Scenic Sauna, Cotswolds
Hours: Approx. 3–6 hours per week
Schedule: 1–2 hours per shift, 3 days per week
- Monday morning – cleaning must be finished by 10:00am
- Thursday morning – cleaning must be finished by 10:00am
- Friday evening – after 7:00pm OR Saturday morning - cleaning must be finished by 7:00am
The Role
We’re looking for a reliable and thorough cleaner to help keep our outdoor woodland sauna site looking and feeling its best.
This isn’t a typical indoor cleaning job. Scenic Sauna is an outdoor wellbeing site, so the role involves looking after our saunas, changing rooms, studio and outdoor deck areas. We need someone who takes pride in getting things properly clean and notices the details.
The site is used throughout the week, so regular deep cleaning is important to keeping it welcoming, hygienic and ready for our guests.
What You’ll Be Doing
Typical tasks will include:
- Deep cleaning the saunas, including benches, floors, walls and other surfaces as required. Training will be provided.
- Sweeping, scrubbing and pressure washing outdoor decking and walkways when required. Equipment provided.
- Cleaning and sanitising changing rooms
- Deep cleaning our studio space
- Cleaning floors and high-use surfaces throughout the site
- Cleaning mirrors, doors, handles and other touch points
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Checking and replenishing cleaning/hygiene supplies
- Removing leaves, dirt, mud and other debris from outdoor areas
- Periodic deeper-cleaning jobs as required
- Letting us know if you spot any damage, maintenance issues or supplies running low
Because we’re an outdoor site, the job changes slightly with the seasons. There may be more leaves and mud during autumn and winter, for example, and more attention needed on decking and outdoor areas at busy times of year.
All cleaning products, equipment and supplies will be provided, including pressure-washing equipment where required.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is aged over 18 and:
- Reliable and punctual – the cleaning needs to happen at the agreed times so the site is ready for guests
- Thorough, with good attention to detail
- Happy doing physical, hands-on cleaning
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Comfortable using a pressure washer and other cleaning equipment
- Able to work independently without supervision
- Someone who takes pride in leaving a space genuinely clean rather than simply completing a checklist
- Ideally experienced in commercial, hospitality, leisure or similar cleaning, although this isn’t essential
Hours
The regular schedule is:
Monday: Morning – 1–2 hours, finished by 10:00am
Thursday: Morning – 1–2 hours, finished by 10:00am
Friday: 1–2 hours, starting after 7:00pm OR Saturday mornings finished by 7:00am
Approximately 3–6 hours per week in total.
There may occasionally be the opportunity for additional hours for larger deep cleans or additional site work.
Pay: [£15-£20p/h experience dependant]
Start date: immediately
