Warehouse & Events Coordinator

Hours: 40 hours per week (varied hours during peak seasons)
We are a friendly, family‑run business based in Bushey, North West London, specialising in the sale and hire of outdoor structures such as marquees, garden igloos, party tents, and stretch tents. Our mission is to bring life outdoors by making the great outdoors even greater.
As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a proactive and motivated Warehouse & Events Coordinator to oversee warehouse operations, manage deliveries, support event setups, and provide excellent customer service.
What You’ll Do
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, organising, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure full stock visibility and control.
- Manage warehouse layout, ensuring equipment, tools, and stock are stored safely and efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages, overstock, or replenishment needs.
- Implement and improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support operational growth.
- Coordinate warehouse workload, prioritising tasks to meet delivery schedules and customer deadlines.
- Train and support team members on warehouse procedures, safe handling practices, and company standards.
Event Operations
- Set up and dismantle marquees, tents, and all related accessories at customer sites, ensuring safe and efficient installation.
- Load and unload vans safely, following correct manual‑handling procedures to protect both equipment and staff.
- Handle all equipment with care, ensuring items are maintained in excellent working condition and stored appropriately after each use.
- Lead and oversee on‑site installations, ensuring all quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards are met.
- Clean, maintain, and prepare equipment to ensure readiness for future jobs and to prolong equipment lifespan.
- Drive the company van to deliver, collect, and transport equipment to and from customer locations.
- Coordinate site setup logistics, ensuring equipment, tools, and team members are organised and installation timelines are met.
- Communicate professionally with customers on site, providing clear updates, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
- Support team members during large installations, guiding junior staff and ensuring safe and efficient teamwork.
Client Servicing
- Handle customer enquiries by phone, email, and in-person, delivering friendly, professional, and solution‑focused support.
- Assist customers visiting the warehouse to collect or pay for orders, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Provide clear communication and updates to customers regarding order status, delivery times, and installation arrangements.
Administration & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, delivery schedules, and other key operational metrics to support informed decision‑making.
- Maintain and update the company’s procedures manual, ensuring all operational processes are clearly documented and consistently followed.
- Lead value‑adding projects aimed at improving systems, workflows, operational efficiency, and client offerings across the business.
- Support the company’s performance on Google, eBay, and Amazon by helping develop strategies that drive visibility, positive reviews, and sales growth.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Attributes
- Ability to lift heavy boxes (up to 40kg).
- UK manual driving licence; must be age 25+ for van insurance.
- Own vehicle.
