We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are hygienic, organised, and presentable, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional setting, supporting the overall cleanliness and organisation of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any malfunctions or shortages.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a secure working environment.
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy and organised throughout the shift.
- Adhere to specific client requests or special cleaning instructions as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
