Dorrington House Homes is looking to recruit a Domestic assistant in our Wells home. We’re seeking a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys a challenge and has good attention to detail.
Job Summary
Ensuring that we provide a clean environment for our residents and staff, providing a high quality service and high standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with infection control procedures.
Principal Responsibilities
- To vacuum, dust and clean resident's rooms and en-suites.
- To vacuum, dust and clean lounges daily.
- To spring clean at least two bedrooms daily.
- To vacuum, dust and clean corridors daily.
- To empty and clean bins in bedrooms, lounges and toilets daily.
- To act in a manner, which is courteous, polite, friendly and considerate at all times. Ensure new staff feel welcome and assist them in their new role.
- To assist in making residents welcome in the Home and helping prior to admissions by ensuring rooms are clean and tidy.
- To receive visitors into the Home and ensure they are made welcome, and that the person they wish to see is aware of the visit.
Working hours 09:00 - 13:00 or 13:30 - 17:30 - flexible hours are considered .
Experience is not essential.
Full induction training provided.
