Are you an experienced Early Years Educator looking for an exciting new opportunity?
We're seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of our children and families.
As an Educator, you'll play a vital hands-on role in supporting daily operations while also leading by example within the nursery room. This is a fantastic opportunity to support high standards of care, teaching and early learning for all children, all while being part of a brand new, community rooted setting.
Northern Nest Nursery is preparing to open its doors in summer 2026, and we’re looking for someone who is passionate, organised, calm under pressure, and ready to help bring our vision to life. You will be joining at the very beginning, supporting our team culture, routines and aspirations from day one.
What You’ll Do
- Champion safeguarding and wellbeing for every child.
- Act as a role model, delivering high quality practice aligned with the EYFS.
- Maintain the quality of observations and assessments for your key children
- Adhere with day-to-day Nursery operations including ratios, room organisation and general coordination.
- Build a warm, trusting relationship with families and contribute to our community ethos.
- Play an active role in the identity, culture, and daily rhythm of this new setting.

- A qualified and experienced Early Years Educator (Level 2 or above)
- A confident educator with a passion for child development, inclusive practice and high-quality care.

Location: Heaviley, Stockport, SK2 6HA - Easily accessible by public transport and close to the town centre
Contract: Full-time Permanent
Hourly Rate: £12.80 per hour, depending on experience
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks, satisfactory references, and safer recruitment procedures in line with statutory guidance.
