Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable lead Strength and Conditioning Coach with a sports science background to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing customised training programmes to optimise athletic performance and prevent injuries. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with athletes across motorsport, providing expert guidance grounded in anatomy and sports science. Duties
- Develop personalised strength and conditioning programmes tailored to individual athletes' needs and goals
- Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate current performance levels and track progress over time
- Deliver engaging coaching sessions focusing on proper technique, safety, and injury prevention
- Educate athletes on anatomy, biomechanics, nutrition, and recovery strategies to enhance overall performance
- Monitor training sessions to ensure adherence to programmes and adjust as necessary for optimal results
- Collaborate with sports coaches, physiotherapists, and other health professionals to support athlete development
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, progress notes, and programme modifications
- Stay updated with the latest research in sports science, strength training, and injury prevention techniques
- Management and care of the performance training space
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching or strength and conditioning roles
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and exercise physiology
- Excellent teaching skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes of all levels
- Relevant certifications such as UKSCA (United Kingdom Strength & Conditioning Association) or NSCA (National Strength & Conditioning Association) are desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Organised with excellent attention to detail in programme planning and record keeping
- Passionate about athlete development, health, and safety

Pay: £24,420.00-£54,420.96 per year
