Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge is seeking to appoint a Conference and Events Deputy Manager to cover maternity leave of the Conference and Events Manager working with the Head of Hospitality and Conference Administrator. This role will commence as soon as possible up to 9 April 2027.
The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders of the Conference Office both for internal and external events while maintaining conference activities to a high standard by delivering a professional, hospitable and efficient service.
The post will suit someone who is looking to take their career to the next level and support the Conference Office maximising income generation for the College. You will have experience of organising conferences and events with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a good level of numeracy. You must have the ability to solve problems under pressure and be able to work to deadlines.
This is a full time, temporary post involving 37.5 hours per week. The salary is based between points 25-31 on the Sidney Sussex salary spine, currently equating between £32,196 to £36,314 per annum dependent on experience.
