Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner / Cleaning Operative to join our team at a busy gym facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all members and staff. This role includes two sites one being at Rayleigh and then traveling to Westcliff. Traveling expenses is covered. Previous experience in commercial cleaning roles is preferred, but full training will be provided. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks across all areas of the gym, including changing rooms, showers, reception, and fitness areas
- Clean and disinfect equipment, surfaces, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
- Restock cleaning supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning work is desirable but not essential as training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards
- Flexibility to work during scheduled shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends if required
Times:
- 5.5 Hours per day
- 5 days per week
- Monday - Friday.

Pay: £1,553.33 per month
