As an Early Years Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced practitioners to support children aged 0–5, helping them learn, grow and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
You’ll gradually develop skills in:
Supporting children’s learning through play
Helping with daily routines and care
Creating engaging activities aligned to the EYFS
Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Understanding safeguarding and child development
No prior experience is required — just enthusiasm, commitment and a genuine love of working with children.
A positive, caring and reliable attitude
Willingness to learn and complete an apprenticeship
Good communication skills
Passion for early years and child development
GCSEs in English and Maths (or willingness to work towards them)
Cheddar, Somerset (BS27)
Easily commutable from Winscombe, Axbridge, Wedmore and Weston‑super‑Mare.
