Job Overview
We are looking for 2 dedicated and flexible Cleaning Technician to join our expanding team in South (Worthing area) or West Midlands/Manchester areas. (Team of two). Experience in commercial cleaning is preferred. This may also suit a small cleaning team or a sole trader/PAYE.
This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in retail environments.
This role is predominantly nightshift (Mon - Thur) and requires flexibility, including regular travel and occasional overnight stays in accommodation.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated sites and areas.
- Carry out Builders Cleans, Deep Cleans, Floor Polishing, and High-Level Cleans to a professional standard.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in retail environments.
- Use and maintain cleaning equipment, including buffers and scrubber dryers.
- Follow established cleaning procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an advantage.
- Experience with wooden floors and Deep Cleans, preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical stamina for cleaning tasks that may involve lifting or moving items.
- A full, clean driving license essential.
- Must be flexible and willing to travel, including regular overnight stays.
Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Typically Sun-Thur with very occasional weekend and day working)
- Salary: £14.50-£15.50 per hour (dependant on experience) extra days off for longer weeks.
- Additional Pay: Yearly bonus
- Schedule: Night shift with occasional dayshift
