Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Welfare Cleaner (Subcontractor) to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the construction site. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring all welfare facilities, including canteens, toilets, and offices, are hygienic and well-maintained. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, safety, and morale of all site personnel. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where cleanliness and safety are paramount.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of welfare facilities such as toilets, canteens and offices to meet high standards of hygiene.
- Restock supplies including soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other consumables to ensure continuous availability.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Report any issues or damages to site management promptly.
- Assist with waste disposal
Requirements
- Can drive to site as there is no public transport near the site
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning within industrial or construction environments.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures related to hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following health and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with site personnel and report issues efficiently.
