Job Description:
The Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Commercial Property Lawyer (2+ PQE) to join a busy property team. Reporting to the Property Team Lead, you will work autonomously on a day-to-day basis, liaising directly with clients and managing property transactions from start to finish.
You will also work closely with a dedicated property assistant and have the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s marketing programme and client development initiatives.
Responsibilities will include
· Manage commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion.
· Handle lease matters, including negotiations, renewals and ongoing management.
· Conduct searches, enquiries and due diligence as required.
· Prepare client reports, care letters and transaction documentation.
· Oversee exchange and completion to ensure smooth settlement of matters.
· Liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
· Support and train junior staff, working closely with the property assistant.
· Contribute to team development, marketing activity and client growth initiatives.
The Person
Our client is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented lawyer who is confident working independently and delivering excellent client service. You will be organised, commercially minded and comfortable taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
· 2+ years PQE in commercial property work, as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
· Proven experience in sales and purchases, leases, searches, reports and exchange/completion.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all client levels.
· Strong organisational and IT skills with a keen eye for detail.
The Hours
Monday to Friday.
The Salary
£35,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
