We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support educators and students within a dynamic learning environment. Duties
- Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.
- Assist pupils with special educational requirements, including those with disabilities and autism, ensuring they can participate fully in activities.
- Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to help students improve their academic skills, including creative writing and literacy.
- Implement behavioural strategies and behaviour management techniques to promote positive learning environments.
- Support the organisation of educational activities, resources, and materials for classroom use.
- Foster a nurturing environment by encouraging confidence, independence, and social interaction among pupils.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and specialists regarding student progress and needs.
- Assist in monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records of development.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special educational needs, including autism, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of special education practices and inclusive teaching strategies is preferred.
- Proven communication skills to effectively liaise with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in tutoring or mentoring roles that involve supporting academic or personal development.
- Creative writing experience is a plus, enabling the creation of engaging learning activities tailored to diverse learners.

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,500.00 per year
