Trainee Dental Nurse
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join our highly skilled multi award winning friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about starting a rewarding career in dentistry and is eager to learn and develop new skills in a modern, forward-thinking practice.
As a trainee dental nurse, you will work alongside experienced clinicians and nurses, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of treatments while working towards becoming a qualified dental nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance to dentists and specialists during a variety of procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of cross infection control and clinical cleanliness.
- Carry out decontamination and sterilisation of instruments in line with current regulations.
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
- Support the clinical team with implant, Invisalign, cosmetic and general dentistry procedures.
- Ensure patients receive a warm, professional and caring experience.
- Assist with maintaining stock levels and general surgery organisation.

Training & Development
Following a successful probationary period, the successful candidate will be enrolled onto a recognised Dental Nursing Diploma course. This will involve one day per week of study, either in person or online, alongside practical training within the practice. Full support and mentoring will be provided throughout your qualification to help you build a successful and rewarding career in dental nursing.

Hours (Non-Negotiable):
- Monday: 8:45am – 5:15pm
- Tuesday: 8:45am – 7:15pm
- Wednesday: 7:45am – 6:15pm
- Thursday: 8:45am – 5:15pm
- Friday: 7:45am – 1:15pm
Please note: The working hours listed above are non-negotiable, so applicants must be able to commit to this schedule.
Pay: £12.25-£14.50 per hour
