Duties
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Implement loss prevention strategies by identifying potential theft or misconduct
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents with appropriate action and communication
- Assist visitors and staff by verifying identities and guiding them safely within the facility
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, following established safety protocols
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security documentation accurately
Requirements
- Proven experience in security operations or related fields is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong surveillance skills with familiarity in CCTV systems and monitoring techniques
- Knowledge of loss prevention tactics and security best practices
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies or stressful situations
- Valid first aid certification or willingness to obtain one upon hiring
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail and situational awareness
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods throughout shifts

Pay: £16.00-£25.00 per hour
