We are looking for a passionate and supportive Progress Coach to work with students studying within our Health and Education curriculum area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in supporting students' personal development, wellbeing, attendance, academic progress and progression. Working closely with curriculum staff, parents, employers and support services, you will help learners overcome barriers to achievement and reach their full potential.
About the Role
As a Progress Coach, you will provide dedicated support to students through one-to-one coaching, group sessions and targeted interventions. You will:

Monitor and improve student attendance, punctuality, behaviour and progress.
- Support students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Develop action plans and target-setting strategies with students, reviewing progress regularly.
- Deliver personal development sessions covering key themes that prepare young people for adult life.
- Work closely with curriculum teams, careers advisers, student support services and employers to provide effective wraparound support.
- Signpost students to appropriate support services for financial, academic, emotional and wellbeing needs.
- Support learners in developing study skills, employability skills and confidence.
- Assist with work experience monitoring and progression planning.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, employers and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes.
What We're Looking For
Essential

Degree or equivalent Level 4 qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence when working with students, parents, employers and colleagues.
- Experience of working effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience using digital systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Commitment to safeguarding, student welfare and equality, diversity and inclusion.
Desirable

Experience of working with young people in an education, training or support setting.
- Knowledge of student support, mentoring, coaching or pastoral care.
- Experience supporting learners within Health, Education or Further Education programmes.
- Ability and willingness to drive a College minibus.
