As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced Quality & Compliance Consultant to support the Quality and Compliance Lead.
The Role
The Quality & Compliance Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that Medsolve operates in full compliance with all relevant healthcare recruitment legislation, regulatory frameworks, and best practice standards. This role will lead quality assurance across recruitment, compliance, and operational processes, safeguarding patient safety, client confidence, and Medsolve’s reputation.
The post holder will develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance systems, audit processes, and quality standards across the business, working closely with consultants, compliance teams, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards, NHS Framework requirements, GDPR, DBS, Right to Work legislation, and Safer Recruitment practices.
- Act as an internal subject matter point of contact for compliance and quality matters across the business.
- Carry out regular compliance audits, monitor outcomes, and implement improvement actions.
- Support external audits, inspections, and client compliance reviews.
- Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and quality frameworks.
- Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver compliance training, onboarding support, and guidance to staff.
- Identify and manage compliance risks, investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Work closely with Recruitment, Operations, and Senior Management to ensure compliance standards are maintained and scalable as the business grows.
Key Performance Indicator Success Measures
- High audit pass rates and successful external inspections.
- Accurate and timely completion of compliance documentation.
- Strong staff compliance training completion rates.
- Reduction in compliance risks, incidents, and breaches.
Person Specification
Essential
- Proven experience in a Quality, Compliance, or Governance role within healthcare recruitment or healthcare services
- Strong working knowledge of: CQC requirements, DBS, Right to Work, safer recruitment, GDPR and data protection
- Experience conducting audits and managing corrective action plans
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator able to influence at all levels
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Desirable
- Compliance or quality qualification, CIPD HR, Level 3/4 in Compliance, Governance or Quality
- Experience supporting external audits or inspections
- Experience working with healthcare recruitment CRMs and compliance systems
- Knowledge of temporary staffing frameworks and agency supply chains
