We are seeking a dedicated Building Trade Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves supporting skilled tradespeople in various building projects, ensuring smooth operations on-site. Duties
- Assisting with the preparation of building sites, including clearing debris and organising materials
- Loading and unloading construction materials and equipment
- Supporting tradespeople such as carpenters, bricklayers, and plasterers with their tasks
- Moving tools, supplies, and materials around the site as required
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Assisting in basic tasks such as mixing materials or setting up scaffolding under supervision
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with site instructions and safety standards
Skills
- Good physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to learn new skills related to the building trade
- Prior experience in construction or similar manual roles is advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: £12.80-£13.50 per hour
