At Thompson Waste and recycling we’ve been delivering across the North East since 1950, we are a family run business, we have a strong focus on the future, climate change, sustainability and innovation – we keep moving forward.
Duties include booking deliveries out, taking sales/phone enquiries, service face to face customers on weighbridge, assisting drivers, routing drivers work, booking sales invoices out, assisting with unexpected transport diversions.
Must have a very good attention to detail, understand North East roads and post codes, highly self motivated in a sector when customers are the lifeblood of the business.
Other duties include invoicing, scanning, delivery tickets within a 48 hour rule in a fast paced satisfying environment.
Experience in waste would be beneficial but not crucial, car licence would be beneficial.
Good computer skills are a must
Sage experience would be beneficial
