As part of our continued growth & expansion we are currently recruiting for a Stores Person to play a key role in our business in our Magherafelt store. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and friendly team. The successful candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic and report directly to the Branch Manager.
Job summary / Role and Responsibilities
- Goods inwards - goods offload, check/verify against paperwork. Upload checked order/maintain digital records.
- Put away of goods to correct location
- Goods out – accurately picking & checking customer orders , together with supplier returns
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, efficient store.
- Regular stock taking to ensure stock integrity
- Maintaining shelf displays
- Sending orders by courier
- Occasional driving duties may be required to provide cover
- Other ad-hoc duties as requested by Branch Manager
- Comply with Company policy; wearing PPE, following Health and Safety
- A team player-capable of working alone or as part of a team
Essential Criteria
- Previous Store Experience in warehouse environment
- Good communication skills and highly literate
- Strong computer skills
- Attention to detail
Desirable Criteria
- Forklift licence (counterbalance – training can be provided)
