We are looking for an experienced and reliable Plasterer to join our growing team working on behalf of Birmingham City Council. The role involves kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects across Sutton Coldfield and Moseley, Birmingham.
This is ongoing work for the right candidate, with a consistent workload and immediate start available.
Duties Include:
- Full room skimming.
- Patch plastering and repairs.
- Overboarding ceilings and walls where required.
- Bonding out walls.
- Plastering over Artex (where necessary).
- Applying SBR prior to plastering.
- Producing a high-quality finish ready for decoration.
Please note: All kitchens and bathrooms will be fully stripped out and prepared before you arrive, allowing you to concentrate on the plastering work.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in domestic plastering.
- Ability to produce a consistently high standard of work.
- Own van, tools and transport.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- CSCS card required
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload efficiently.

Health and safety is a top priority on our sites and must be taken seriously at all times.
Successful applicants must:
- Wear a suitable dust mask/respiratory protection whenever mixing plaster or creating airborne dust.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures without exception.
- Keep work areas exceptionally clean and tidy throughout the day.
- Protect customers’ homes using appropriate dust sheets and floor protection.
- Clean up thoroughly at the end of every shift, leaving each property in a safe and respectable condition.
As these are occupied council properties, respect for tenants and their homes is essential. We expect every tradesperson to be courteous, professional and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
