About the clinic and the role
As our Receptionist you will join our small team in this important front of house role representing the practice and maintaining the high quality administrative and reception duties of the practice and our patients.
Our clinic is based in Liverpool city centre.
The suitable applicant will be required to work 10 hours per week, spread over 2 days Monday – Friday 8.45am-7.00pm.
Your flexibility is essential to be successful in this role as you are required to cover holidays and sick leave.
Job tasks and responsibilities
· Patient liaison – booking appointments, billing, receipting, empathy with patients is paramount
· General administration duties including data entry, answering phone calls and responding to emails
· Communication with various external agencies/suppliers, medical professionals and clinics
· General housekeeping and ordering of supplies
Skills and experience
· Specialist practice or medical reception experience would be an advantage
· MUST have prior reception experience
· Experience with Cliniko is preferred but not essential
· Effective organisational and time management skills
· Excellent written, verbal and phone communication skills
· General computer skills
· Honesty, integrity, respect for patient privacy
· A high level of professionalism
· Ability to multi-task and work in a close team environment
· Must be able to work extra hours, as required.
· Can-do attitude
