As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll be a key part of the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, supporting our pharmacists and dispensary team while ensuring every customer receives a warm welcome and expert care.
Please note - Candidate needs to be able to travel between Strawberry Place and 67 Sway Road branches.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable advice on over-the-counter products
- Support the pharmacist and dispensary team with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Handle prescription queries and process transactions at the till
- Assist with stock management, including ordering, receiving deliveries and rotating products
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well-presented pharmacy environment
- Follow all standard operating procedures and confidentiality guidelines
What we're looking for
- A warm, approachable manner with excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work well as part of a close-knit team
- A willingness to learn and develop within the role
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
