Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic and successful business. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces by applying paint, wallpaper, and decorative finishes that enhance the aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to complete work efficiently and safely.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors regarding project progress and requirements.
- Manage transportation of tools, materials, and equipment to various job sites using a reliable vehicle.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the project to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
- Maintain a clean workspace by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials responsibly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related trades.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques and application methods for paint and wallpaper.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred for transportation needs.
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.
- Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, lifting materials, and working at heights as needed.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures relevant to construction sites.

Pay: £100.00-£228.38 per day
