Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all residents and staff. This position is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work and have a keen eye for detail.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, bedrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
- Handle waste disposal and maintain recycling protocols.
- Assist with laundry services , including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to requests from staff or residents promptly and courteously.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or Care home environments is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills are essential to interact positively with residents and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
