We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring prompt delivery and presentation
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system and handle payments efficiently
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant or café
- Assist in opening or closing procedures as required, including setting up or cleaning down work areas
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
- Basic maths skills for processing transactions accurately
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive guest experiences

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
