Breakfast & After School Club Manager
Charvil Piggott Primary School, Charvil, Reading, RG10 9TR
£13.80 per hour (plus holiday pay)
Contract: Term Time Only - 21.25 hrs per week
Hours: Monday to Friday
Working hours in club:

Breakfast Club: 7:30am – 8:45am

After School Club: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Additional paid hours are provided each week for planning, preparation and administration.

At Junior Adventures Group (JAG), we're looking for a passionate Breakfast & After School Club Manager to lead our thriving wraparound care provision at Charvil Piggott Primary School.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small, dedicated team and create a safe, welcoming and exciting environment where children aged 4–11 can play, learn and thrive before and after the school day.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead the day-to-day operation of the Breakfast & After School Club.

Plan and deliver a wide range of engaging, inclusive and age-appropriate activities.

Create a fun, safe and welcoming environment where every child feels happy and supported.

Lead, motivate and support your team to deliver exceptional childcare.

Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, school staff and colleagues.

Manage registers, planning and club administration.

Ensure safeguarding, health & safety and company policies are always followed.

Promote positive behaviour and encourage children to build confidence, friendships and independence.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:

Passionate about working with children.

A confident and supportive leader.

Organised, proactive and able to manage a busy club environment.

An excellent communicator who enjoys building positive relationships.

Able to inspire both children and colleagues.

Experienced in childcare, education, playwork, sports coaching or a similar environment.
Whether you've worked as a Playworker, Sports Coach, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Holiday Club Leader, Youth Worker or in another childcare setting, we'd love to hear from you.
