Salary: £27,500 + £65 per sleep-in

Elmdale Care is opening a brand-new 3-bed therapeutic children's home in Loughborough and we're looking for Residential Support Workers to help build something special from day one.
Supporting children and young people with EBD, Learning Disabilities, Autism, trauma, and complex needs, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, nurturing, and positive home environment.

Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will help provide a safe, stable, and supportive home environment where children can thrive.
You will:
- Build positive relationships with young people
- Support daily routines, education, appointments, and activities
- Promote independence, confidence, and life skills
- Deliver care plans and behavioural support strategies
- Maintain safeguarding and professional boundaries
- Undertake key working responsibilities where appropriate
- Complete daily recordings and reports
- Work closely with families and professionals to achieve positive outcomes
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience working with children and young people
- Reliable, resilient, and child-centred approach
- Strong safeguarding awareness
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Experience in children's residential care
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Experience supporting children with EBD, Learning Disabilities or Autism
- Full UK Driving Licence
- DBS Update Service subscription

Opening a New Home Together
Successful candidates will take part in a structured onboarding programme before the home opens, including mandatory training, therapeutic practice training, team-building activities, and opportunities to help shape the culture and expectations of the service.
This is a unique opportunity to join the team before children move in and help build a positive, stable, and successful home from the very beginning.
