About the role
You'll teach a broad and balanced curriculum while creating a classroom where all students can succeed. Your role involves planning lessons that spark curiosity, providing helpful feedback, and working with colleagues and families to support each student's personal growth. How will you help shape the future of your students?
Key responsibilities
Plan and teach engaging lessons with clear learning targets that build on what students already know
Adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all students, including those with SEND, high ability learners, and EAL students
Use strategies and questions that help students understand concepts and develop their thinking
Give regular feedback that guides students to reflect on their progress and improve their work
Create a positive classroom culture with clear routines and high expectations for behaviour
Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to help every student succeed
We are looking for someone who
You'll have a degree in a relevant subject and Qualified Teacher Status. You understand what excellent teaching looks like and know how to create high expectations in the classroom. Your IT skills are good, and you have a secure knowledge of your subject and curriculum areas.
You'll be an effective team member who communicates well, responds positively to feedback, and is committed to your own professional development.
