Join our club in the heart of chipstead, where you will work match days, and training for our junior section behind the bar on saturdays and sundays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and clubhouse.
- Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol service
- Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills, providing correct change and processing payments efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
- Assist in setting up the bar before service and cleaning up after closing shifts
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, serving procedures, and food safety regulations is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude that fosters guest satisfaction
Join us if you’re interested in the idea of busy match days where the drinks are flowing in a friendly and local club. Shift patterns are 1-2 saturdays a month depending on games scheduled, these shifts are typically around 12-8, but can go on until 11pm, plus social events in the evening can take this later provided a license extension has been applied for, and every other sunday to begin with, then from november every sunday. Typical hours on sunday are 9:30-3pm or so, but this is a much more relaxed shift as it's just the children's training day. Food is provided on both days for staff.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
