The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Air Freight Manager to join our operations team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for managing export shipments from start to finish, with occasional involvement in import procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle air export shipments (occasionally sea) independently, including booking, documentation and customs clearance.
- Coordinate with UK and overseas offices, agents, and partners to ensure smooth shipment flow.
- Arrange and oversee import & export customs clearances.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ensure accuracy and compliance across all job files and reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on air exports (sea freight experience is a bonus).
- Strong operational knowledge and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ASM Sequoia is highly desirable.
- Import & export customs clearance experience.
- Experience with ETSF & Bonded Warehouse would be useful
- Professional, proactive, and able to work independently.

Hours of work 40 hours per week between the hours of 9 - 5.30 or 10 - 6.30

Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
