Key Account Manager - Fire Alarm industry
We are seeking an Key Account Manager to join a leading Fire Protection company. This role focuses on developing and expanding relationships within targeted client sectors and Facilities Management (FM) markets, maximising service penetration across existing accounts while securing new long-term maintenance opportunities. This role would be Suitable for a Fire Alarm Engineer looking to make the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
- Deliver agreed sales targets and organic growth in line with company and group strategy.
- Identify, develop, and secure profitable new maintenance opportunities through networking, referrals, cross-selling, and group collaboration.
- Maximise service penetration within existing key accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Facilities Management providers to achieve preferred supplier status.
- Lead and support targeted tender opportunities, working closely with the Bid Team on portal-based tenders.
Experience
- Proven experience in Key Account Management or Business Development within Fire & Security or related technical services (desirable)
- Hands on experience with a range of Fire Alarm and Fire Protections systems.
- Demonstrable success in growing maintenance and recurring revenue accounts.
- Experience working with FM providers, frameworks, and supply chains.
- Experience leading or contributing to tender submissions and negotiations.
- Experience carrying out site surveys and developing compliant maintenance solutions.

- Salary: £50,000/pa – £55,000/pa
