We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty and wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional guest services and possess a diverse skill set that includes nail artistry, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and massage therapy. Duties
- Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Apply eyelash extensions, makeup, and provide deep tissue massage services as required
- Deliver excellent guest services by understanding client needs and offering personalised recommendations
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as appointment scheduling, client check-in/out, and maintaining the cleanliness of the treatment area
- Utilise social media platforms to promote salon services, showcase work, and engage with clients effectively
- Upsell additional treatments or products to enhance client satisfaction and maximise revenue
- Assist with management tasks including stock control, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting team members as needed
- Maintain professional development by staying updated on industry trends and new techniques in beauty therapy
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role within the beauty industry
- Skills in management, social media management, and customer service are highly desirable
- Competence in eyelash extensions, makeup application, deep tissue massage, barbering, and guest services is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently
- A friendly demeanour coupled with professionalism and a passion for delivering outstanding service
- Relevant certifications or licences in nail technology or beauty therapy are required
