Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring excellent service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage multiple tasks effectively, including taking orders, serving food, and handling payments
- Support with stock replenishment and inventory checks as needed
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and order accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts
- Culinary experience or food preparation skills are advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues
- Willingness to learn new skills and contribute positively to the team environment
