HQC London Ltd is looking for an experienced Joiner / Carpenter to support our ongoing construction, refurbishment and maintenance works.
We are looking for a skilled, reliable tradesperson capable of delivering high-quality joinery and carpentry works safely and professionally.
The Role
Typical duties will include:
- First and second fix joinery/carpentry
- Installation and repair of doors, frames, skirtings and architraves
- Timber repairs and general making good
- Refurbishment and maintenance works
- Working safely within occupied and unoccupied properties
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site housekeeping
- Working alongside other trades and site management as required
Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid:
- CSCS Skilled Worker – Blue Card (Joiner / Carpenter)
- Faris Certificate
- Level 2 NVQ/SVQ in Joinery / Carpentry, or recognised equivalent qualification
- CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test appropriate to the CSCS Skilled Worker Card
Applicants must be able to provide evidence of their qualification and current CSCS card.
Desirable Training / Certification
It would be beneficial if applicants already hold current certification/training in:
- Face Fit Testing / RPE, where required
- Working at Height
- Asbestos Awareness
- Manual Handling
These are not essential at the point of application.
Where the successful applicant does not currently hold one or more of the above, or their certification requires renewal, HQC will arrange and pay for the required training and certification.
