KD Safeguarding supports organisations across the education, voluntary and children's residential care sectors to improve safeguarding practice and create safer environments for children and young people. About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Business Support Administrator to join our team. This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, building positive relationships with customers and supporting the smooth running of a busy business.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support across a range of functions including customer service, finance, training administration, sales and marketing. You will play a key role in ensuring our customers receive a high-quality service while helping to support the delivery and growth of our training programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Support
- Monitor compliance with GDPR and data protection requirements.
- Manage and respond to customer enquiries, providing excellent customer service.
- Support diary management, event planning and booking administration.
- Monitor and respond to emails on behalf of the Director as required.
Sales and Marketing
- Maintain accurate and compliant marketing contact databases.
- Support delivery of marketing activities, including social media and email campaigns.
- Assist with the administration and quality assurance of the company website and social media platforms.
- Support activities aimed at increasing customer engagement and sales.
Finance Administration
- Create and issue customer invoices.
- Maintain financial records and update associated systems.
- Liaise with customers regarding payments and outstanding invoices.
- Produce sales and financial reports as required.
Training and Events Administration
- Manage training bookings and customer communications.
- Prepare course confirmations, reminders, certificates and follow-up communications.
- Book venues and coordinate training event logistics.
- Produce delegate materials and training packs.
- Compile and prepare evaluation and feedback reports.

- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail.
- Is committed to maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Shares our commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- Has general administrative experience within a busy office environment.
- Is confident using IT systems and social media platforms
Salary and employee benefits:
· £26,936 full-time equivalent, actual salary is £19,572
· Remote working, term time only + 2 weeks
· Part time role, 30 hours a week
