This is a genuine entry route into financial services: a structured two-year trainee programme that takes you from your first day on the phones to a fully CeMAP-qualified adviser.

You do not need a financial services background or qualifications; we provide first-class induction training and a funded study programme. But you do need proven experience of dealing with customers: this role requires a minimum of two years in an office-based or customer service role. Beyond that, we want someone genuinely committed to a long-term career, not a short-term job. This is a demanding role with a steep learning curve, and to succeed you must be:
- Confident on the phone and comfortable handling inbound customer enquiries
- Able to explain complex information clearly and simply
- Motivated to deliver excellent customer service within a compliant, advice-led process
- Quick to pick up new software and online processes
- Willing and able to work weekends on an ongoing basis
- Committed to completing the full two-year programme, including funded CeMAP study

Financial services experience is an advantage but is not required.
What you will do in Year 1
You will handle inbound customer enquiries and complete mortgage affordability assessments for new build, resale and remortgage customers. This is non-advised, information-gathering work while you study, and it is where you build the technical, customer and interpersonal skills every good adviser relies on.

- Fully funded, structured study programme for CeMAP 1 to 3, working towards Competent Adviser Status (CAS)
- £29,500 starting salary, rising to £32,500 on passing your 3-month probation

Office based on a business park in Sandiacre, just off J25 of the M1. Full time, permanent, 40 hours over 5 days a week including weekends. You will need to be within a reasonable daily commute; this is not a remote or hybrid role.
