At Holcim, we are seeking a enthusiastic Semi-Skilled Operative to join our dedicated production team at our site in Leighton Buzzard. This is a brilliant chance to get your hands on machinery, learn valuable industry skills, and play a vital role in manufacturing high-quality concrete products within a supportive, safety-first environment.
This position is on on-site working a double days pattern. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a close-knit team to operate automated manufacturing equipment, help maintain site standards, and support productivity targets. You do not need years of prior experience, if you have a passion for learning and how things work, we will provide full on-the-job training on how to operate our specialist block-making equipment and safely operate a forklift truck!
Passionate and Curious: You have a keen interest in anything mechanical and love understanding how equipment functions.
Keen to Learn: You bring an enthusiastic mindset and are eager to acquire new hands-on skills, from operating automated machinery to earning your forklift qualifications through our comprehensive training.
