Job Summary
G Marshall (Tractors) Ltd is seeking a Parts Advisor to join our team at our St Boswells location. Our parts team are responsible for supplying our sales and service staff with the parts information and support required in order for them to repair and service our extensive product range and advise our large and varied customer base. This position is also responsible for driving our retail counter sales and increasing customer account spending through promotional activities and planned marketing campaigns. This position will work under the supervision of our Parts and Aftersales Managers.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate stock accounting by managing goods in and booking out in a timely and organised system.
- Accurately manage the parts checking process in our service job processing system.
- Participate in daily activities to meet the demands of the regular tasks including but not limited to: picking parts for jobs raised; booking in good received; answering internal and external customer enquiries in a timely manner; track and communicate the staus of deliveries; performing stock checks; source parts from other suppliers to meet the requiremnents of each job; completing the documentation required for our dealer management system.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well with others in other departments in order to maintain a positive and enjoyable working environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, vendors and management.
- Perform other specific duties as assigned based on previous experience and skillset.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM (hours may vary seasonaly)
Saturday 8:00AM - 12:00PM (flexible rota system)
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£18.00 per hour
