Vehicle Preparation Technician – PDI & Pre-Sales Checks

Salary: £40,000 OTE per year
Unity Tredington is looking for an experienced and professional Vehicle Preparation Technician to join our busy franchised dealership near Shipston-on-Stour.
You will be responsible for preparing new and used vehicles to the highest standard, carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) and Pre-Sales Checks (PSCs) to ensure every vehicle is safe, fully prepared and ready for customer handover.
Key responsibilities
- Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections on new vehicles
- Completing Pre-Sales Checks on used retail vehicles
- Identifying and rectifying mechanical or electrical faults
- Carrying out maintenance and minor repair work as required
- Ensuring vehicles are prepared to manufacturer and Unity Automotive standards
- Accurately completing all relevant job cards and documentation
- Working efficiently with the sales, service and workshop teams
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
About you
- Ideally qualified to Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Preparation Technician
- Able to work accurately and efficiently to high standards
- A committed and reliable individual with a positive attitude
- A strong team player who takes pride in their work
- A full UK driving licence
